Arthur Hedeman
Arthur Hedeman qualified as a lawyer in 2010 and specialises in liability, construction and insurance law.
Arthur has a wealth of experience with commercial claims, policy disputes and technical loss. He advises companies on managing their liability risks, and drafts contracts and standard terms and conditions.
His understanding of construction law as well as insurance law is invaluable in settling claims for damage caused by construction work. Arthur’s particular area of expertise are the connections between different building contracts and the types of insurance that are relevant to construction. Examples are the AVB, CAR, VGV, BOV, Brand and insurance against machinery breakdown, damage to land-based equipment and goods in transit.
Arthur regularly advises on complex liability and policy issues. His clients trust his specialist knowledge and strategic insight. Although Arthur prefers to resolve matters pragmatically, he will not hesitate to litigate if necessary.
